Welcome to this ThreeBirdsOne site, currently dedicated to On The Road, a photographic collection by Samantha Tate.

I caught this beautiful Alaskan sunset from a wooden platform at the edge of a perfectly still lake. Within two hours the sun was rising again between the feathery spruce trees on the horizon.

Tokyo is fire engine, happy-new-year, dragon red with its bright lights and crazy energy, but there’s also a more reflective aspect to Tokyo that can be found if you look for it.

Island Dancer

I ran from torrential rains and flooding in Rarotonga and found myself at a ceremonial dance. The fast-moving island dancers are intense, ecstatic and bright as tropical birds.

Quebec @Night

In Quebec, fading terrace houses are squeezed between newer buildings all up and down cobbled streets. Quebec under street lights is a slippery, watercolour, twilight purple.
